Well it is Weds 3/25/09. Not alot going on. Did complete another UFO last weekend. will post pick as soon as I can.

Thimbleberries project but not T-berries fabric obviously. Challenge for T-berries club. Nice day to day. little cool. good day to stitch

Quilting Day

What a wonderful day! The three "f"s, Family, Friends and Food. Does it get any better? The only part I didn't like was that it ended. I did come home to a roast beef dinner (as did Mom). No beets though. Howard dragged the kids to Price Chopper and did the shopping for the week and made dinner. I'll keep him I guess. I am really tired for some reason. Not sure why. Maybe it is the sunshine coming in the window. Not sure, but feels good. Well that is it for today. talk to you soon.

I'm Learning

Well I am learning this blogging thing. I added a few features - don't ask how, all I know is that they are on there. One is quilt of the day. TOday I clicked and it took me to connectingthreads. How cool is that. Will see it always takes you to that site or if tomorrow is different. Should change quilts randomly. Well it is Tuesday. Yummy corned beef and cabage at Moms tonight. It was really good. tapioca pudding for dessert. mmm mmmm. No stitching today. Week nights are tough. Well have a great week.

Weekend Wind down

Well the weekend is coming to a close. I did get some quilting done. Few UFO's and few other projects. As soon as David gives me back the camera, I will post the pics. Kids played out side alot this weekend. The weather was so nice. Daniel has a few friends in the yard playing ball. Side yard not to muddy. back and the other side yard is one big mud pit. Made homemade pizza and it turned out pretty good. It is 7 pm and it is still pretty light out. Hello Spring!!! Although I did see yucky weather for tomorrow. Uhhggg. Anyways, have a good week everyone and I will blog again soon.

Special Day

Well I decided to leave work early today and go to Daniel's readers workshop at school. He told us they did a writing assignment for the class but did not give me any details. So I surprised him and showed up at school with Grammy. They had to read their assignment in front of the class and to a handful of other parents that attended. They had to write a memoir or make up a story. Daniel chose a memoir. Had I known, I would have first packed that classroom with more family members and second I would have brought tissues. He wrote a memory of Aunt Net! It was so cute and loving. His title was Grammy Greens pies. He told of her love for chocolate and how she snuck some to him before dinner and how she made pies and no one else make them like her because she was so special. He mentioned she was a grandmother to alot of kids- hmm Jen I think he meant that for you! LOL It was heart warming!! I am very very proud of him. I told him I wanted to keep that book and that I want to share with everybody. It was amazing. Aunt Net would have been proud of him as well. Just when you think those kids are not paying attention to what is going on around them or appreciate those we have the opportunity to love, it shows up in the last place you thought! I will be giving him a big hug tonight!

New Blog!!!

Hi Everyone,

Well I am trying out this blogging thing. Seems everyone is doing it these days and I don't want to be left behind. I hope to keep you all updated on my recent quilting activities and my daily life. Please blog along with me. I am looking forward to alot of activity from all my family and friends. I think it will be a great way to keep in touch and learn new things.
